Luxury bathroom renovations, built to last decades.
Full-service bathroom renovations in Sydney — thoughtful design, master craftsmanship and premium finishes delivered end-to-end by one dedicated team.
A bathroom you will love for the next twenty years, not the next two.
A well-designed bathroom is one of the most powerful upgrades you can make to your home. It changes how each day begins and ends, how your family lives, and how your home is valued. At Vestbor Renovations, we design and build bathrooms that feel calm, considered and unmistakably custom — not showroom cut-outs assembled from a catalogue.
Every project we take on begins the same way: a quiet, unhurried conversation about how you actually use the space. We measure light, ventilation, traffic flow, storage and the small daily rituals most builders never ask about. Only then do we begin drawing. The result is a bathroom that fits the shape of your life, not the shape of the room next door.
Our in-house team manages every trade — tiling, waterproofing, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, stonework and glazing — under one project manager and one contract. There are no subcontractor blame games, no missing deliveries and no gaps in communication between milestones. You get one number to call, weekly progress updates and a transparent quote you can trust.
Whether you are creating a serene main-bedroom ensuite in Mosman, a family-friendly bathroom in the Inner West or a jewel-box powder room in a Paddington terrace, we deliver the same standard: hotel-level finish, honest budgets and a build process that respects your home and your time.
Why homeowners choose us for bathroom renovations.
One team, one contract
Design, project management and every trade are handled in-house. You never have to coordinate a plumber, a tiler and a cabinet-maker yourself.
Transparent quote, clear schedule
Detailed scope, transparent quote and a start-to-finish schedule agreed before work begins — no surprise variations mid-build.
Premium finishes as standard
Full-body porcelain, natural stone, solid brass tapware and custom joinery in every project. We only build to a standard we would want in our own homes.
Certified waterproofing
AS 3740-compliant waterproofing installed and documented by licensed applicators — the single most important detail in any bathroom.
Respect for your home
Dust screens, floor protection, daily clean-downs and defined work hours. Your home stays livable, even mid-renovation.

Common mistakes homeowners make.
Choosing on the lowest quote alone
The cheapest quote almost always excludes waterproofing detail, quality tapware and proper joinery — leaving you with a bathroom that looks tired within five years.
Underestimating storage
A beautiful vanity with no drawer inserts, no tall storage and nowhere for towels quickly becomes a cluttered, frustrating space.
Skipping the ventilation upgrade
A modern bathroom needs a properly sized, ducted exhaust fan. Recirculating fans and undersized units are the number-one cause of mould.
Ignoring lighting layers
Overhead downlights alone create harsh shadows. Task lighting at the mirror and warm accent lighting completely transform the space.
Forgetting waterproofing sign-off
Certified waterproofing is a legal requirement and a resale essential. Always insist on written certification, not a verbal promise.
Trend-chasing every detail
A restrained palette with one or two signature moments dates far more slowly than a bathroom built entirely from this year's Pinterest board.

What makes a luxury bathroom renovation different from a standard one?+
A luxury renovation is defined by the level of detail, not just the budget. It means custom joinery designed to millimetre precision, certified waterproofing, natural stone or full-body porcelain, solid brass tapware and a design that is tailored to your daily routine. Every element is chosen for longevity and visual cohesion, not just immediate impact.
Do I need to move out during the renovation?+
Most clients stay at home while we work. We install dust screens, floor protection and containment zones, and we work to defined hours. If the bathroom being renovated is your only one, we can discuss a temporary bathroom solution or schedule the work to minimise disruption.
Do I need council approval to renovate my bathroom?+
Most cosmetic and like-for-like bathroom renovations in Sydney fall under Exempt Development and do not require council approval. Structural changes, new plumbing to new locations or works in heritage-listed properties may require approval. We advise on this at the consultation and handle any applications on your behalf.
Will I be able to live at home during the renovation?+
Yes, most of our clients stay in their home during the renovation. We set up dust screens, protect flooring and containment zones and work defined hours. If it is your only bathroom, we can help plan around a short-term rental of a portable bathroom or scheduling for a stay-away period.
What warranty do you provide on bathroom renovations?+
We provide a written structural and workmanship warranty on every renovation, plus manufacturer warranties on all fixtures and appliances. Our waterproofing carries a certified warranty from the licensed applicator. We also return at the three-month mark for a complimentary check-in.
Do you handle design, or do I need my own designer?+
We handle the full design in-house for the vast majority of our clients — layout, materials, joinery and lighting. If you are working with an interior designer or architect, we love collaborating with them and are happy to build to their documentation.
Can you match my existing home's style?+
Absolutely. Every bathroom we build is designed for its home — a Federation terrace, a coastal home in Mosman and a warehouse conversion in Alexandria all deserve very different bathrooms. We tailor materials, proportions and detailing accordingly.
